This is from Pioneer's first demo disc from 1980. I had to cut out about 5 minutes of this to fit the time limit, but I have the complete version on Google Video and Stage6.
Video bitrate is at 256, to get the sound in stereo I had to move that down to 64, 96 forced it to mono. I'll see if I can inch it up a little more as it sounds a bit compressed here but still better than mono!

From 1979, Adam Rich from "Eight Is Enough" shows off his skateboarding prowess. Too bad it wasn't enough to keep him out of trouble later on.
The "Dear Alex & Annie" in the middle of this was cut for time, but I put that up separately.

Can you believe DVD has been out for 10 years now? This is from the very first DVD that most people saw, the Panasonic Demonstration Disc from 1996. This was shown repeatedly in stores when the first DVD players came out, since actual movies weren't put out for a few weeks afterwards!

One of Burger King's less-remembered ad campaigns- "America loves burgers, and we're America's burger king!" Watch this for yet more reasons why the 70s was the greatest decade ever.

Video duration: 274 seconds

Primitive computer-generated text display from a local channel on Cablevision in Jericho NY. Kids could mail in their favorite jokes to win money, and they would be displayed on the channel along with the kid's name and address! Don't know if any of these people are still at these addresses, but please don't harrass them! Audio is from radio station WBLI.

Video duration: 199 seconds

This is a segment from the ABC Saturday (or was it Sunday?) morning show "Kids Are People Too". Supposedly these are actual questions real kids sent in, though they don't seem to show the address (no website either!)
If "Flat As A Pancake" sees this, could she please send me an update with pictures! ;)
