Laserdisc: What It Is (abridged) Posted by: eyeh8cbs
Video duration: 598 seconds This is from Pioneer's first demo disc from 1980. I had to cut out about 5 minutes of this to fit the time limit, but I have the complete version on Google Video and Stage6. Video bitrate is at 256, to get the sound in stereo I had to move that down to 64, 96 forced it to mono. I'll see if I can inch it up a little more as it sounds a bit compressed here but still better than mono! |

Adam Rich skateboards on "Kids Are People Too" Posted by: eyeh8cbs
Video duration: 608 seconds From 1979, Adam Rich from "Eight Is Enough" shows off his skateboarding prowess. Too bad it wasn't enough to keep him out of trouble later on. The "Dear Alex & Annie" in the middle of this was cut for time, but I put that up separately. |

Kids could mail in their favorite jokes to win money, and they would be displayed on the channel along with the kid's name and address! Don't know if any of these people are still at these addresses, but please don't harrass them! Audio is from radio station WBLI. |

Video duration: 155 seconds This was included on Polygram's first DVD releases in 1997, showing the titles they had out. They were packaged in "Laserfile" cases, which most people hated and they switched to the traditional keepcases the following year. |
