How do I learn digital/midi sequencing software to create electronica music?

I’ve played keyboard and composed music all my life. I want to create electronica and produce my music, but I have to learn how to use the midi sequencing software. Which software is the best? Where can I learn to use it? Is there an instructional class somewhere? (I live in Dallas.) This is my dream but I am clueless about this new technology. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

    I recommend checking out Ableton Live LE ( ) along with the Ableton Live tutorial video ( ). Most midi sequencing software programs work in similar ways, and this is a great and professional place to start. Hope this helps!
