How do I add sound to a homemade VIDEO made with digital camera?

Murray G asked:

I use picasa and the option to make a movie is great. However, I want to add background music of my own from MP3 or other music to the movie I created. What can I do with XP? Is there a simple freeware software out there?

You need some kind of video editor. For free version, you can try MS Movie Maker. You can go to Microsoft.com to download it. If you are XP user, it is free with Windows.

Not freeware that I am aware of. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 which is excellent for editing and dubbing music…

XP already includes the necessary software. It’s called Movie Maker.
