How do I create a photo slide show with music to show people my vacation pictures?

npo1026 asked:

I just got back from a great vacation and wanted to create something to show friends all of my pictures. If I burn a CD with about 300 digital pictures and put a few music files on there for background music, will it play in slideshow format on a DVD player? I’ve played burned audio CDs on my DVD player before, but I wasn’t sure if picture files would show up on the television.

If this idea won’t work, what is the best way to accomplish my goal? Can Windows Media Player do this? I have heard of a $90 program that will, but I’m sure there are better options….

Can 1 CD even accomodate that many pictures with 4 or 5 songs?

Do I need to burn my project to a DVD with my DVD burner?

Thanks all…

I highly recommend photo story platinum which is easy to use yet creative software to turn photos and songs to stunning slideshow and share on Youtube, mobile devices or burn CD/DVDs directly.
It has the power to leave someone breathless and offers much simplicity but although a perfect professional result.

Find samples and tutorial from its official website:

    hope it helps.

    Wow! That’s a lot of pictures! :o )

You might want to check out this online service. It is as easy as it gets but the quality is very professional. Seriously. It’s only $25 for the whole year if you use the coupon there (that’s for unlimited videos). Plus, you can download the files and burn them to DVD or just order a DVD and let them do all the hard work.

I think you’ll be surprised how great the quality is. Plus, it will keep your friends captivated.
